Megan Brunton is a native of Las Vegas, NV. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in Music Education. Now she is a middle school music teacher with the Clark County School District, teaching piano lab classes at Thurman White Academy of the Performing Arts. Megan has taught for Bonnie’s Music Shop and its non-profit organization Rockin’ Music Zoo. She has worked as music director for Camp Broadway at the Smith Center, as well as Super Summer Theater, Sun City Musicmakers Chorale, Broadway In The H.O.O.D. theatrical company (Helping Others Open Doors), West Career and Technical Academy and the Stage Door Theatre. For fun, Megan is an active member of the Las Vegas swing dancing community where she loves to Lindy Hop. Megan has spent over 10 years in music ministry. She loves the transformative power of music in building community.
